The Oregon Court of Appeals upheld an award of benefits to a doctor for his injuries in a fall as he was reporting to work a hospital shift. Case: SAIF v. Massari, No. 178, 04/18/2018, published. Facts: Christopher Massari worked as a doctor for the Bend Memorial Clinic. He mainly worked out of St. Charles Hospital. Massari’s job required that he make rounds at the hospital, complete charts and that he be available on short notice via pager if he left the building.
