The California Division of Workers’ Compensation on Wednesday announced that it launched three free online educational courses for system users including providers, claims administrators, case managers, attorneys and human resources personnel.
The training courses cover the Medical Treatment Utilization Schedule, tips for qualified medical evaluators and medical-legal report writing.
The MTUS course covers required use of the state’s treatment guidelines, how to use the guidelines, and the structure, scope and application of the drug formulary.
