The Northwest Arkansas Economic Development District’s workers’ compensation insurance lapsed in January, according to a news report Wednesday.Jerry Mitchell, executive director of the Area Agency on Aging of Northwest Arkansas, said AAA found the issue when it was in the process of hiring 81 Economic Development District employees.
