The New York Workers' Compensation Board is reminding stakeholders that the switch to a more robust claims data reporting standard is coming next spring, and testing will begin in November.
The board will change from the electronic data interchange (EDI) 3.0 standard, as developed by the International Association of Industrial Accident Boards and Commissions, to the 3.1 standard, on March 15, 2021.
There will be no staggered rollout and no exceptions to the deadline, the board said in a bulletin.
