The Colorado state House of Representatives recently passed a bill that would extend the limit on workers’ compensation claims for mental impairment to 36 weeks from 12 weeks.
The House on Friday voted 45-17 to pass HB 1076, by Rep. Lindsey Daugherty, D-Arvada.
The measure would also allow expedited hearings when employers terminate temporary total disability benefits based on a medical provider’s release to return to regular employment.
