The Oregon state House of Representatives unanimously passed a bill that would allow physician assistants to treat injured workers and authorize temporary disability under the same rules that apply to nurse practitioners.
The House voted 56-0 Wednesday to pass House Bill 3412, by Rep. Dacia Grayber, D-Tigard.
The bill would clear the way for physician assistants to treat injured workers pursuant to rules that allow nurse practitioners to treat work comp patients.
