Contractor to Pay $252K in Restitution, Fines for Underreporting Payroll

A Pacific Grove, California, contractor was ordered to pay $252,656.85 in restitution and fines after his conviction on three felony charges for failing to accurately report employee wages, fraudulent use of a contractor's license and failing to file payroll tax returns, the Monterey County District Attorney's Office said Tuesday.
