The Virginia Court of Appeals ruled that an injured firefighter paramedic was time-barred from pursuing applications for additional benefits more than six years after he returned to full-duty employment after fracturing his hip. Joshua Stanton was a firefighter paramedic for the City of Virginia Beach. He fractured his hip while on duty in August 2014.
