Latest CompScope Report Finds Medical Payments Decreasing in Most Study States

The Workers Compensation Research Institute said in the 24th edition of its CompScope Medical Benchmarks report that medical payments per claim decreased at least 3% in most of the states covered by the study. Medical costs for 2021 injuries with experience through March 2022 decreased in 11 of 17 states included in the report.  WCRI reports that medical payments per claim decreased by 3% per year during the period covered by the report.
