Legislation to Adopt Inpatient Fee Schedule Introduced

The Minnesota Legislature is considering a bill recommended by the state's Workers' Compensation Advisory Council to adopt a hospital fee schedule that would cap fees at 200% of the Medicare rate. Rep. Tony Albright, R-Prior Lake, introduced House File 2193 on Monday. Sen. Dan Sparks, D-Austin, filed an identical companion measure, Senate File 2056, on the same day.
