Alaska has seen a 46% decline in workplace injuries in 2014 along with a 2.6% decrease in workers' compensation premiums, state officials have revealed to the Alaska Journal of Commerce.
Mike Monagle, director of the Workers' Compensation Division, told the newspaper that the state's lost-time claims fell to 0.61 per 100 employees this year.
