Idaho firefighters are making another try at persuading state lawmakers to pass legislation creating a presumption for cancer as an occupational disease, according to a report by KTBV Television on Thursday.
The Idaho state Senate passed a bill that would have created a bill to create a presumption for several types of cancer suffered by veteran firefighters, but the House of Representatives never brought the measure up for a vote.
