Cities, Comp Trust Team Up in Lawsuit Against Opioid Makers

Fort Smith is the latest Arkansas city to join in a lawsuit against opioid manufacturers and distributors, an action that the Arkansas Municipal League’s workers’ compensation trust has also joined. The city’s board of directors voted to join the suit on Tuesday, the Paris Express reported. So far about 100 cities have joined the lawsuit.
