The Occupational Safety and Health Administration has issued seven construction companies − three contractors based in Miami, Fla., and four subcontractors based in San Antonio, Texas − 45 serious citations and one other-than-serious citation for allegedly exposing workers to asbestos hazards at a San Antonio construction site.The companies were assessed a total of $148,000 in fines.OSHA's San Antonio area office began an inspection of the site in March in response to a referral by the Texas Department of State Health Services.Inspectors at the Reserves at Pecan Valley apartmen...
