Lawsuit Alleges Identity Theft, Unauthorized Use of Certified Interpreters' Credentials

The Association of Independent Judicial Interpreters of California alleges people employed by One Call Corp. falsely impersonated certified interpreters in depositions held over Zoom since 2021. The association in a complaint filed Jan. 31 with the Los Angeles County Superior Court accuses One Call of violating California’s unfair competition law by condoning the alleged identity theft.
