Governor Signs Tramway Safety Bill to Correct Statutory Reference to Definition of 'Employee'

California Gov. Gavin Newsom signed a bill calling for workplace safety standards covering passenger tramways that also includes provisions clearing up a statutory reference to the definition of “employee” for the purposes of workers’ compensation.
