Lawyer Suspended Months After Pleading to Defrauding Federal WC Program

More than a year after pleading guilty to defrauding the federal workers' compensation system, a Dallas-area lawyer with roots in Zimbabwe has been disbarred. The state Board of Disciplinary Appeals, which is appointed by the state Supreme Court, last week announced that it had suspended the license of Tshombe Anderson after he was sentenced to 10 years in prison.  Anderson pleaded guilty in 2017 for his role in defrauding the federal comp system of almost $30 million. He was sentenced in federal court in Dallas this spring.
