Lawmakers Pass Bills That Would Penalize Deportation Threat, Authorize Massage Therapists

Immigrants would have one less thing to fear if they are injured on the job, under a bill the New York Assembly passed last week. The measure was one of five affecting workers and workers' compensation that passed at least one legislative chamber in the last few days.
