A group of federal lawmakers from Iowa and Illinois are asking the Department of Labor to answer questions about how it plans to encourage more providers to treat injured workers.
Sens. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, Dick Durbin, D-Illinois, and Tammy Duckworth, D-Illinois, together with Reps. Mariannette Miller-Meeks, R-Iowa, and Eric Sorensen, D-Illinois, in a Dec. 5 letter gave Acting Labor Secretary Julie Su 30 days to answer 10 questions about the federal workers’ compensation program.
