A former police officer who sidelined as the lead singer of a heavy metal band called Cousin Sleaze while he claimed he couldn’t work due to an arm injury has pleaded guilty to fraud, the Associated Press reported.Christopher Inserra, 32, entered the plea in federal court in Brooklyn on April 22.He was arrested last year on charges that he collected more than $30,000 in disability payments between June 2010 and March 2012 while he was out sick from the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey Police Department.
