OWCP Amends Inpatient Fee Schedule to Establish 'Automatic Outliers'

The Louisiana Office of Workers' Compensation Programs has adopted a rule that establishes "automatic outliers" from the state's inpatient hospital fee schedule, according to a notice in the May edition of the Louisiana Register. Maximum fees for automatic outliers are billed for charges less 15%. The office said these acute care services will be considered automatic outliers.
