The Alabama Department of Insurance has named Jerry Workman deputy commissioner.
Workman will lead the department’s Rates and Forms, Consumer Services and Strengthen Alabama Homes divisions. He will succeed Deputy Commissioner and Chief Actuary Charles Angell, who is retiring in July. Workman will work with Angell during a transition period.
