Housekeepers would no longer have to work full time to qualify for temporary disability benefits, according to a bill approved by the New York Assembly on Tuesday.
The chamber approved Assembly Bill A1326 by a vote of 92-46 and sent it to the Senate, where it is now in the Labor Committee.
