Bill to Streamline Adjuster Licensing Expected to Resurface in Congress

A survey recently commissioned by the Association of Claims Professionals has found that about 125,000 commercial insurance claims adjusters are working in the U.S. — a statistic that may give the professionals more clout on industry issues in Washington, D.C. The adjusters process claims amounting to $450 billion to $500 billion a year, according to the survey conducted by Bickmore, a risk-management consulting firm.
