Court Sets Aside Default Judgment in Dispute Over Unpaid Comp Premiums

A California appellate court on Wednesday ruled that an employer was entitled to have its default to a claim for unpaid workers’ compensation premiums set aside because of excusable neglect. C.D. Container had workers’ compensation insurance coverage with the State Compensation Insurance Fund.
