TDI Adopts Changes to Licensing Rules

The Texas Department of Insurance has adopted changes to its Licensing and Regulation of Insurance Professionals chapter, repealing and amending several rules. Commissioner of Insurance Cassie Brown signed an order adopting the rule amendments and repeal on May 30. Rules 19.703, 19.1019, 19.1303, 19.1320, 19.1905, 19.3001-19.3005 and 19.4001-19.4017 were repealed. The repeal of Rule 19.703 implements Senate Bill 1060, which was passed by the Texas Legislature in 2015.
