Report Claims 2,000 Deaths From Heat Exposure

Heat exposure is responsible for as many as 2,000 worker deaths and 170,000 injuries each year, according to a report by consumer advocacy group Public Citizen. The report is part of an effort to prod the Occupational Safety and Health Administration into implementing national standards to protect workers from heat exposure.
