Bills Repeal Pool Assessment, Allow Tracking and Training of Contractor Truckers

Kansas Gov. Laura Kelly signed bills to ensure that motor carriers can monitor truck drivers without the risk of establishing an employer-employee relationship and to repeal a statute authorizing assessments for group-funded work comp pools. Kelly on Wednesday signed House Bill 2093, eliminating the group-funded work comp pool.
