A federal lawsuit that some stakeholders hoped would help establish when a state's fee schedules apply to out-of-state medical services has been settled for an undisclosed amount.
In Doctors Hospital v. Kentucky Employers' Mutual Insurance, all sides agreed to the settlement, according to the order signed last week by federal Judge Gregory Van Tatenhove of the Eastern District of Kentucky.
