Pediatrician Waits Too Long to File Occupational Disease Claim

The Maryland Appellate Court ruled that a pediatrician waited too long to file her occupational disease claim. Dr. Stacy Scott-McKinny is a board-certified pediatrician who has worked at the Children's National Medical Center since 2007. According to Scott-McKinney, 90% of her job involves computer-based work. Scott-McKinney allegedly first noticed numbness in her right hand while typing at work in the fall of 2016.
