Two Doctors Lose Their Treating Privileges

The New York State Workers’ Compensation Board has revoked Dr. Jadan Hayel Abbassi’s authorization to treat injured workers after a New Jersey medical board accused him of inappropriate sexual contact with a patient. Abbassi’s last-known practice address is 75 S. Broadway in Yonkers. The revocation is related to an order by the New York State Board for Professional Medical Conduct, which pulled Abbassi's license to practice medicine on Aug. 29 based on a New Jersey consent order referencing evidence of inappropriate behavior with a patient.
