The Louisiana Workforce Commission plans to update the workers' compensation reimbursement for nurse anesthetists, in keeping with Medicare's codes and modifiers.
In a notice published in the latest edition of the Louisiana Register, page 320, the commission said it would adopt 2020 Current Procedural Terminology codes, along with a modifier for unsupervised certified registered nurse anesthetist services.
