It may have been more of a swell than a blue wave that rolled through the land a week ago, but worker advocates nonetheless are hoping it will mean worker-friendly changes in several states.
“The collective voice of working people was heard loud and clear,” New York AFL-CIO President Mario Cilento said in an email. “Labor’s grassroots campaign all across the state produced victories across the board in congressional, state legislative and the statewide races.”
