High Court: Worker With Limited Ability to Sit/Stand Can Still Be Gainfully Employed

A divided Ohio Supreme Court overturned a grant of writ relief to a worker seeking permanent total disability benefits based on her inability to remain in one position for more than a few minutes at a time. Donna Kidd injured her back in 2013 while working for Tronair Inc. The Bureau of Workers' Compensation accepted Kidd’s claim for benefits.
