A New York appellate court partially revived a worker’s Labor Law claim for his alleged fall as he was descending a fixed ladder. Case: Cain v. Ameresco Inc., No. 2017-12614, 06/09/2021, published. Facts: Michael C. Cain worked for County Energy Controls as a controls technician. County was a subcontractor working under Ameresco Inc. for a project at Central Islip High School.
