Report: Officers Claim Injuries From Lead Exposure at Gun Range

Seven Southern California police officers have filed workers’ compensation claims saying they were exposed to high levels of lead at an outdoor gun range, according to a report by the NBC affiliate in San Diego. NBC reports the San Diego Police Department closed the gun range May 17 pending the results of air sample tests conducted after officers raised safety concerns.
