Meadowbrook Insurance Group is seeking additional time to file its Form 10-Q with the Securities and Exchange Commission.The insurer, which suffered a ratings downgrade from A.M. Best, has requested that it be allowed to file the 10-Q by Aug. 14.The Southfield, Mich.-based insurer said it needs the additional time to estimate the impact on its goodwill resulting from the A.M. Best downgrade on Aug. 2.
