A Jackson woman faces up to five years in prison and $15,000 in fines over allegations that she committed one count of workers’ compensation fraud. Francine Owens, 35, who goes by the last name of Wren, turned herself in Wednesday to the Hinds County Sheriff’s Department after an investigation by the state attorney general’s Insurance Integrity Enforcement Bureau, the AG’s office said.
