Legislators Used Physician-Dispensing Study to Pursue Reform, Had Mixed Results

A study released in May that shows injured workers who receive medications directly from their physicians miss more time from work has been used by legislators in at least four states in attempts to reform the process, researchers said during a webinar Wednesday.
