Providers Oppose Bill to Impose Fee Schedule

Medical providers on Tuesday urged the Senate Small Business and Industry Committee to reject a bill that would mandate adoption of a workers’ compensation fee schedule. If the legislature adopts Senate Bill 601, by Dave Schatz, R-Sullivan, Missouri would join the 44 states that set maximum fees for medical services through regulations.
