The Classification and Rating Committee of the California Workers’ Compensation Insurance Rating Bureau will discuss proposed dual wage thresholds during a June 1 meeting in Oakland.
Committee members will discuss changes to the dual wage threshold for carpentry and steel framing that could go into effect at the start of 2018. Employers in industries that qualify for dual wage classification can receive discounts on their workers’ compensation premiums if they pay workers at a certain rate.
