Members of Wisconsin’s Workers' Compensation Advisory Council will continue their push for physician-dispensing legislation this year after a bill containing proposals they supported failed to move out of the Assembly Labor Committee last session.
Among other reforms, Assembly Bill 711 called for physician-dispensed repackaged drugs to not be billed higher than the average wholesale price listed in the Red Book of Drug Topics, published by Thomson Reuters.
