The North Carolina Industrial Commission is hoping to avoid another legislative review of its rules next year, after having gone through three years of intense scrutiny in an exhaustive review process that concluded in 2014.
The Industrial Commission has asked the legislature’s Rules Review Commission to accept an interpretation of state law that would allow it to avoid a regular review of rules adopted under Title 4, Chapter 10 of the North Carolina Administrative Code.
