The Tennessee Bureau of Workers' Compensation has launched a job training and scholarship program designed to help injured workers on permanent partial disability find new opportunities.
The Next Step program provides up to $5,000 in financial assistance per year for job training at a community college, university or at the Tennessee College of Applied Technology, and offers other job assessment and connection services, the bureau said in a news release.
