Committee Gives Nod to PEO Registration Bill

A Missouri bill that would require professional employer organizations to register with the Department of Insurance was approved 11-1 in the House General Laws Committee Tuesday. House Bill 2075, by Rep. Jeanie Lauer, R-Blue Springs, would require PEOs to pay an initial fee of $500 to register with the department, and $250 each year thereafter to renew.
