The Montana Department of Labor & Industry is holding a public hearing June 8 on proposed revisions to medical fee schedules and a new rule that would create a deadline for submitting medical bills.
The department is proposing to adopt a rule that would occasion reimbursement for medical services upon the submission of a timely bill. The rule would require that invoices be sent within 365 days of the date of service or the day the provider knew the services were related to a comp claim.
