WCA Updates Workers' Guide to Work Comp

New Mexico’s workers’ compensation agency has revised and redesigned its guidebook for workers. The 58-page guidebook walks workers through the workers’ compensation process step by step. It also functions as a guide to workers’ rights and responsibilities under New Mexico’s workers’ compensation law. Containing chapters on worker/employer responsibilities, medical care, how to file a claim, benefits, returning to work, dispute resolution and lump sum payments, the guidebook is currently available in English and will soon be available in Spanish.
