Mark Ashcraft, manager of California's Office of Self-Insurance Plans, plans a retirement date of July 1, 2003.Ashcraft will be succeeded by Mark Johnson, formerly in charge of the Division of Workers' Compensation's audit unit. Johnson is familiar with the job, having worked in the SIP office in the mid 80s.
