DWC Proposes Next Batch of HB 7 Rules

The Texas Division of Workers' Compensation on Monday released for comment proposed rules that would amend four chapters of regulations to implement provisions of House Bill 7. The proposed rules would affect required medical examinations, designated doctors, the role of treating doctors, notices of maximum medical improvement, electronic medical billing and other issues. Stakeholders have until March 6 to get comments in.
