HCA Sells Employer Health Unit to Concentra

The Midwest Division of HCA Inc. has sold its Employer Health Services unit to Concentra Health Services for an undisclosed amount. Employer Health Services operates seven Kansas City-area medical facilities. Its 90 staff members and 10 doctors have transferred to Concentra. Concentra, based in Addison, Texas, now operates nine occupational medical centers in the Kansas City market. The company is a nationwide provider of workers' compensation and occupational health services.
